About Ayurveda - the ancient science
Ayurveda is traditional Herbal, natural healing system practiced in India since 5000 years. The word Ayurveda Is derived from Sanskrit. Ayu means life and Veda means science.
Ayurveda is science of life that teaches us to live balanced , natural, harmonious state. Life according to Ayurveda is a conglomeration of four interdependent components namely, the body (Shareera), the sensory and motor faculties (Indriya), the mind (Satva), and the soul (Atma). A healthy life necessitates a perfect complementary support of all these factors and thus the concept of health encompasses physical, mental, sensory and spiritual domains.
Main goal of Ayurveda Science is
“SWASTHASYA SWASTHYA RAKSHANAM ATURASYA VIKARA PRASHAMANAM”
which means Ayurveda aims at maintaining good health in a healthy persons and aims to cure the person who is diseased or sick.
When we follow Ayurveda Lifestyle Dinacharya (recommended daily routine )and Ritucharya ( Seasonal routine) it will support us to attain Healthy life. Ayurveda gives guidelines for all of us about food ,Yoga Asanas, meditation with the help of these guidelines which are practiced and proven since 5000 years. Ayurveda is the only science of medicines and medical treatment with no side-effects and only side advantages.
